Can TB Be Completely Cured And What Are The Precautions For That?

My wife aged 32 got the chest Xray and is diagonised as having TB. Firstly Xray showed kochi's lesson and after a week the xray showed pnneumonic consolidation; later one week the chest xray revealed kochi's lesson means she is TB possitive. Now we are asked for a medication level 3 to be continued for 12 months by the physician. Will TB be complely be eradicated and can we have the se during this medication. And what all precatuitons be taken now.

Hi. I can understand your concern.
Any organ can involve with TB.Pulmonary TB usually presents with chronic cough more than 2 weeks duration, loss of appetite, loss of weight, evening fever.
If you are having pulmonary TB and have not taken treatment for TB before, then you will require 6 months of anti-TB medicines. Along with that you will require nutritional supplements. If taken regularly your TB will be cured.
Don't worry, she will be alright.
