Can Nystatin Cream Be Effective In Treating Mosquito Bites?
hi my daughter has some serious mosquito bites on her arms and her legs and theonly type of medication that I have for it is either nystatin cream and mometasone furoate ointment. can I use either of these on those bites? oh yeah she's only two years old and weighs 27 pounds
Explanation: I am not convinced by your serious mosquito bite. In chidren it may cause redness and swelling, but it will subside by itself after 2-3 days. If there is severe inflammation mometasone cream may help but nystatin not required. Any ways, show it to a local doctor and get his advise before using any cream for local application. Good luck.
