Micronor contains 0.35mg of norethisterone. It is a low dose progesterone containing medicine used specially for contraception. Though there can be postponement of periods but it's not reliable because of low progesterone content.
Primolut-N contains 5mg of norethisterone. It is indicated for postponement of periods. The dosage is 1tablet three times a day 3 days before the expected date of menstruation. Shouldn't be taken beyond 10-14 days. A normal period occurs 2-3 days after stopping the medication.
If you were my patient, I would have recommended Primolut-N at the above doses. As these are usually prescription drugs, I would advice you to consult an obstetrician.
I hope the above information clarifies your doubts. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a wonderful day. Take care.
