Can Lisinopril Be Taken In Place Of Metoprolol?

I am 29 years old i was perscribed lisinopril 9 months ago .. Then i switched doctors and they gave me Metoprolol instead .. Because my doctor said lisinopril is for old people but long story short i couldn t make my insurance payments and my blood pressure is back through the roof 150/96 is it safe to go ahead and take the remaining lisinopril?

Both Lisinopril and Metoprolol are antihypertensive drugs. You can use one of them to lower the blood pressure.
