my GP has put me on Lisinopril which has lowered my BP from around 150/90 to around 140/80 BUT I believe that it has drastically reduced the speed at which I can run. I am 68, my 10K speed has dropped from about 53mins to 58mins and my half marathon from around 1h58mins to 2h15mins. Is it likely that this is due to the Lisinopril? If so could I just not take the L on hard training days or race days?
