Can I Travel Having Been Diagnosed With Iliac Aneurysm?

I am a 44 year old male 5' 10", 185 lbs good health no heart or BP issues have had stress tests in the past, recently found i have a 2.6 cm right common iliac aneurysm. Is it safe to travel by air in the next 3-4 weeks and to go on amusement park rides (roller coasters) and have condition addressed after vacation. Also which option is best stent with coils or surgery with resectioning. Any ideas on possible reasons for this, Iam told and have read this is a rare condition especially in someone my age.

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM.
I reviewed facts of your query in context to your health issues.
My Opinion-
In My opinion, in the given situation you seen to be cautious to avoid risks from roller coaster rides,as it could increase chance of complications of rupture of CIA(Common iliac Aneurysm)/ and thromboembolic events from CIA.
Any act which would increase your blood pressure is risk increasing factor and needs to be avoided as far as possible.

Do's Suggested-
You can go on vacation but avoid roller coster or such events.
Consults with Physician-who would check for high bp and would start needful medicines-like antihypertensives etc to reduce on complications of CIA,depending on status of CIA in your case.
Any act which would increase your blood pressure is risk increasing factor and needs to be avoided as far as possible.
About the treatment options-stent or coils or surgery would be decided as per your case study, after knowing its details.
So better leave it to attending Consultant, than confusing and worrying on the issue.

Next appointment-
After 2 weeks to review treatment for existing stomach problem .

If you update more information/ details upon these suggestions,I would give further suggestions on medicines to correct your health issues.
