Can I Take Warfarin And Xtandi Pills Together In Order To Treat Recurrence Of Pulmonary Embolism?
I AM ABOUT TO START A TREATMENT WITH XTANDI PILLS OF 160 MG PER DAY. I HAVE BEEN TAKEN WARFARIN FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS TO PREVENT A RE-OCCURANCE OF PULMONARY EMBOLISM WHICH I HAD TWICE ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO. I HAVE LEIDEN FACTOR 5 GENE. MY DOCTOR ADVISED I MUST STOP TAKEN WARFARIN WITH THE XTANDI PILLS. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?

The medicine which are taking first is anticoagulant and that is "warfarine", and another one is having some pharmaceutical effects on Androgen and that is "Xtandi" these both have different mode of action and does not have any interaction between them so taking these drug together will not cause any harm, hope this will help you in taking decision have nice day.
