Can I Plan On Conceiving While Taking Eltroxin For Thyroid Issues?

Hi. I am 24. Am suffering from thyroid from 5 yrs. Am on a high does of 150 mcg of eltroxin since five yrs. However my throid results are always normal due to this medicine. Am planning a baby . What ar the precautions i need to take before concieving?

After going to the history, the sex patient is not mentioned. But I think it must female. If I were your physician I would have re-emphasized to talk your medicine regularly and advised that you can plan your pregnancy as you are having normal thyroid function. And also to increase that dose to 200 mcg as soon as you know that you are pregnant and contact an Endocrinologist immediately.
