Can I Go Through Surgery With A Swollen Knee?

I injured my knee on 2009 tearing the pettal tendon. I injured my knee again teo weeks ago and had an MRI today. I go back to the ortho doctor tomorrow and my main question is becasue the knee is so swollen, willthey post pone operating and make me go to thearapy.

Hello,

You have to go for an MRI scan first to look for any possible tendon or ligament injury. If tendon or ligaments are injured, surgical correction might be required. You can opt for arthroscopic repair as it has got best results.
