Can I Give An Infant Bricanyl Elixir For Cough And Fever?
Hi I have been told to give my son Bricanyl elixir for his cough. 1ml he is 14 myhs old. He got a bit better so I stopped it but then got worse so I gave it to him again. His fever seems to come when he's on it. Is this a coincidence or could the medicine be causing his temp to rise?

Bricanyl syrup contains antihistamine which suppresses cough. It is unlikely to affect the temperature regulatory mechanism. Its just co-incidental.
