Can Deviry Reduce The Chances Of Conceiving?
I have pcos since 8 years and have been trying to conceive since 5 years but no positive result instead landed up with ectopic in march 2012. I do not get my periods naturally hence have to take deviry 10mg for the same. i wanted to know can deviry terminate my chances of getting pregnant in that particular month if taken early or within a week of missed periods? Am i myself creating hurdle by not given enough time for pregnancy to take place? (Got confused when came to know that their can be delayed fertilization sometimes)

The reason for irregularty / absence of periods in PCOS is because of the defective ovulation. The periods normally occurs 2 weeks after ovulation if there is pregnancy. Deviry does not produce ovulation. It only produces a withdrawal bleeding. If taken before the ovulation, it can prevent ovulation and reduce your chance of pregnancy.
Insulin resistance is the main cause of PCOS. To overcome this, you should lose weight if overweight or obese, eat wholesome food and exercise minimum 30 minutes a day.
In addition you would be benefited by Metformin to reduce the Insulin resistance and fertility medicines.
