Can C Difficile Cause Diarrhea With An Increase In Heart Rate?

I have recently been on levofloxacin for approximately 20 days, also nitrofurantoin,cefalexin and nystacin I know have chronic diahrea, raised hearty rate. I take omepramazole to protect stomach for some of the painkillers I am on. could increase in heart rate and diahrea becaused by cdif, if so what should I do?

Diarrhea can be due to viral, bacterial ,fungal or parasitic infection.

A stool sample would be needed to determine what is causing the diarrhea.Diarrhea can cause an increase in pulse rate because of the fluid and electrolyte loss.

It may not be c diff but your doctor can check to determine this.
