hello. a few weeks ago I had bad burning when urinating so I assumed it was a uti . my urethra was very inflamed. drank cranberry juice and the inflammation of the urethra got much better. I then noticed some blood in my urine and when I wiped on the toilet paper. I went to a cvs minute clinic and gave a urine sample to the nurse practitioner and she said there were a moderate amount of luekocytes in my urine and that I had a uti. she prescribed me cipro for 3 days 250 mg twice a day. I have one more pill to take. the bleeding is now minimul and light pink. do uou think I as should have been given more than 3 days of antibiotics. I thinkbi just let it go for to long from when I first discovered the burning urination and swollen urethra. have you ever heard of this kind of uti.
