Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Any type of the infection in body develops elevation in White Blood Cells count ( 4000-10000 cmm). If it is around 14000 c mm need not to worry at all. Any bacterial infection causes such type of activities . Please the exact figure of WBC count with differential count , thereafter we can evaluate the diagnosis. Good luck. Dr. HET
