Brown Spotting With Cramping After Being On Implanon Even After Time For Removal. Is This Normal?

Hi. I ve had the implanon for the last three years. It has been time for me to remove it since like a month ago, yet I haven t. would this affect me? Also I have been spotting (brown) and I ve been also cramping for the past two weeks. is this normal?

Implanon can prevent pregnancy for up to 4 years although it is recommended to remove after 3 years. Leaving it just for a month will definitely not be of harm to you. Spotting and cramping are probably its side effects. In my opinion, I think you are normal but you surely need to go and get it changed.
