Breathing Issues At Night, Throat Seems To Have Restricted Airflow. What Could Be Causing This?
Hello... I have been having slight issues breathing at night time (think it is related to my snoring and getting worse from me being over weight).... the last two days I feel like my throat has been having restricted airflow and making it slightly difficult for me to breath just normally..... what could be causing this to happen????
Hello and welcome to HCM
Overweight causes a large number of sleep problems like snoring, a feeling of obstruction and apnoea.
The way to relieve these problem is reduction of weight and to maintain such a posture at night which interfers least with sleep.
You can go for sleep study for further evaluation.
Thanks and take care
