Bloating, Nausea, Numbness In Arms, Vit D Deficient, Irregualar Sleep Pattern, Tinitus, Hot And Pricky Ears, Fluctuating Liver Enzymes, Periods Once In 3 Months. Help

I am a 50 yo female, my menses occur every 3 months for past 9 months. Symptoms: I have been sick for the past 5 yrs. Bloating, nausea, vomiting, numbness in arms, severe vitamin D deficient, thinning skin, thinning hair, softening teeth, dizziness, lack of sleep and then sleep for 2-3 days. Diagnosed with cataracts within 2 yrs of previous eye exam, tinitus & low/high frequency deafness in each ear (military svc), become hot and prickely then very nauseous. Have had upper GI scope, epolori bacteria-neg, 4 hr emptying test-neg, blood tests and liver enzymes fluctuate every 3 months. I have a celiac breath test scheduled, & a colonoscopy next week.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Menses every 3 months from last 9 months .
This is the main reason of concern.
At the age of 50 years estrogen depletes and this is the root cause of illness.
Bloating , nausea, vomiting, dizziness, numbness, thinning of hairs & skin, softening of teeth .
Vitamin D deficiency is also a cause but only related to generalized weakness, teeth and cramps.
In my opinion please get in Vitamin D a full course at the advice of your physician.
Peri menopausal syndrome is playing a very crucial role in your symptoms ,so please consult your gynaecologist and get his opinion.
Good luck.
