Hello I have been feeling bloated with very mild cramping below my naval...I do have a belly button hernia that needs to be attended to but my lower stomach has just not been normal as of late..I have normal bowel movements daily which seems to change between normal and being loose..I suffer from anxiety and these problems are not helping..I am a 46 yr old male ...
Bloating is a common problem. It can be related to: (1) constipation (2) GERD- gastroesophageal reflux disease- in this case there may also be symptoms such as burning discomfort in the chest, feeling of food coming back up, nausea, excess salivation (3) lactose intolerance (4) celiac disease (5)excess use of some foods such as broccoli, cabbage, brussel sprouts, turnips, carbonated drinks
If it is related to constipation the use of more fiber would be helpful as well as increasing fluid intake.
If you are unsure as to the cause you may want to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment
Hope this helps
