Bleeding Between Periods With White Fleshy Skin, Sore And Itchy Vagina. History Of Genital Warts, Chlamydia, BV. Any Thoughts?
Hi I am experiencing bleeding between periods and white fleshy parts of skin along with blood coming from my vagina, it is sore and itchy. I have had genital warts 2 years ago and also chlamydia( a year and a half ago) for a lengthy amount of months (between 2-4months). I get BV a lot also. Do you know what it could be?
Hi, Welcome to HCM. If you have a sexually transmitted pelvic inflammatory disease, it could be a possibility for the inter-menstrual bleeding. In Pelvic inflammatory disease you would have a lower abdominal pain or tenderness even in the absence of periods. No other STD cause could be attributable to Inter-menstrual bleeding. Itching and soreness indicates the possibility of an yeast infection. If you have diabetes it has to be well controlled.Yeast infection can be confirmed by certain investigations and can be treated with appropriate anti fungal antibiotics. Intra-vaginal Warty tissue sometimes may be expelled spontaneously as a whitish flesh if it is present. It is suggested to have a PAP smear examination. Get well soon. Dr S.Murugan
