Bit The Inside Of My Cheek. Now Have Swelling. What To Do?

I bit my the inside of my cheek multiple times for the past two days and now it looks like a huge ulcer on the inside of my mouth and keeps getting larger every time I accidentally bit it. And my whole left cheek has become swellen along with my lymph nodes... What can I do to make the swelling go down and make the pain stop? Should I go into the dr?

Hello,
Thanks for posting on HCM,
Given that they are a lot of pathologic bacteria found in the mouth, it is very likely that the multiple bites have been complicated by an infection which as resulted into a mouth ulcer. You will require a course of local and systemic antibiotics (to use in mouth and swallow respectively) and also pain killers (analgesic). Mouth wash solutions with antibacterial infects such as eludril or hextril could be used. Analgesia such as paracetamol could take care of the pain.
You will need to see a doctor to examine you closely and prescribe the necessary antibiotics.
You need to be careful now as mouth ulcers can complicate seriously.

Hope this helps

Welcome to HCM.
The swellingyou're having is due to infection. The treatment you need is antibiotics and painkillers and a topical ointment to apply to the inside of your mouth. Please consult the doctor to help you with a prescription. I trust you find this information helpful.
