Back Pain, Vomiting. Dip Test Shows Infection. Taken Antibiotics. Have Itchy Rash. Suffering From MS

I have been feeling very unwell with severe back pain and vomiting, i was given antibiotics as a dip test proved an infection, I now have a terrible rash all over the body which feels like I hve been thrown into a bed of nettles and the itching is driving me mad, also tiredness. I suffer from MS and thought at first this was a relapse before the rash appeared.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the rash occurred after you started taking the antibiotics then it is likely that it is as a result of an allergic reaction to the antibiotics.

You may want to speak to your doctor as soon as you can. He or she would probably suggest that you discontinue them and may suggest an alternative.
You can also take an oral antihistamine in the interim to decrease the allergic reaction.

I hope this helps
