Hi,

This not seems to be true. In my opinion you should not try this. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination of spine and proper treatment according to that.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Spine Surgeon Dr. Niranjan Kavadi's  Response
Hi
Thank you for your question.

Straightening of the pelvis and/or spine is not possible this way only by manipulation. When the MRI showed your back is not straight if it is curved sidewise it is called scoliosis. If it is swayed backwards it is lordosis which is normal curvature of your back. No fixed curvature of the spine can be changed by manipulation. Most important question here- did it offer you pain relief? If the chiropractor's maneuver gives you pain relief it is fine but it can not change the curvature in your back. I would suggest seeing a spine surgeon if you are concerned about the curvature.

Please let me know if I can be of further help.
