Baby Not Passing Motion Since Three Days. No Relief With Laxopeg, Taxim O. Duration For Its Reaction?

My baby hasn't had a motion since 3 days. When she is trying to do so she is not able to do it. I consulted a pediatrician yesterday and he adviced LAXOPEG AND TAXIM O. My question is that i used the medicine yesterday night but till now she didn't had a motion. How long will it take the medicine to get motion. My baby age is 3 years. Kindly advice

Continue giving medicines, now within a day she will get motion.
If there is no motion then you may go for pediatric laxative suppository for insertion after taking opinion from your pediatrician.
Give plenty of water.
