Because of the size of the one on her cheek she was scheduled an appt. at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

The doctors are following the correct approach. Such tags can suggest some underlying abnormality for which ultrasound has been suggested.

The tags can always be removed later rather then removing at such an early age when it is not causing any problem to the child except for cosmetic reasons.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your niece all the best.
