Are There Nerve Blocks Available To Treat Painful Sores On Feet While Suffering From Scleroderma And CREST Syndrome?

I have Scleroderma with CREST. I have painful hard sores on the bottoms of my feet as well as purple discoloration with pain on my heels. Walking is becoming unbearable. Is there any treatment, surgeries (I am hesitatant on this),or a possible nerve block to prevent feeling pain in my feet.

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Unfortunately, there are no nerve blocks known to give relief from the painful ulcers of scleroderma.
You could try pentoxyphylline, blood thinners, vasodilators like nifedepine and nitroglycerine containing skin patches. Always keep the extreme ties warm by wearing socks and gloves. Do not work with cold water.
Hope some of these measures give you relief.
Take care.
