Are Meteospasmyl Capsules And Buscopan Effective For IBS, Constipation, Bloating And Cramps?
I've a history of IBS with constipation. It usually flares up when I'm stressed over a period of time.
Well, it has flared up again with bloating and wind and cramps. So I saw the doc and he gave me meteospasmyl capsules and buscopan. I usually take cerekinon but the doc didn't have them so gave me the above. Are they as effective as cerekinon? Thanks.Liz

Hi,
Cerekinon helps in IBS by regulating intestinal motility. So it used in treatment for the same. But now your symptoms have flared up so your doctor prescribed other two medicines which helps in reducing spasm and relaxing muscles of intestine. These help in reducing pain or cramps only.
