Hello,

When you are under a lot of stress due to work, studies or day-to-day routine, it seems hard to be focused or concentrated on a single thing. If this is the only problem you have that you are not able to focus on work, then you may not have depression and not require treatment for that.

You can try to relax and not let yourself get carried away in stress. Do not try to focus continuously on one project or work. Rather, keep changing works and take small breaks. Close your eyes for 10 minutes and breathe deeply in and out during small breaks. Read a book, listen to music or talk to a friend in between single activity or work. As you will relax, you will be able to feel more relaxed and refreshed while able to concentrate more on your work. You can also join yoga or meditation classes to increase your concentration span.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. You can ask me any follow up question you have.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
