Are Growing, Painful Lesions On Body A Symptom While Having Pityriasis?

I have been diagnosed with pityriasis. A biopsy of skin (after treatment for 10 days with antifungal) came back negative for ringworm. My concern is this: I now am developing lesions on my lower leg (after shaving) and the so-called herald patch continues to grow outward. I have other lesions on shoulder and one small on left flank, left thigh and left groin. I am worried that it still might be ringworm, as the lesions keep getting bigger. They also HURT to pressure. I do not want my family to get this!!
