Are Black Spots A Cause For Concern During Pregnancy?

I recently have been getting black spots... or rather one spot that is extremely dark on my underwear. They form in the center of my underwear or towards the front so they can t be skin marks. They only form if I have not showered for more than a day and didn t show up before my pregnancy. I m wondering is it s because of the pregnancy.

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

The most important sign of pregnancy is a missing period.
If you have history of regular cycle and if you have crossed your expected date of menses and you are expecting pregnancy then I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. in case of any doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

Secondly, even if you are pregnant, then black coloured discharge needs to be investigated thoroughly.
If you are pregnant then USG will be definitely advisable.
This will help to know about the viability and gestational age of the pregnancy.

Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for antiemetic like Doxylamine and Folic acid and vitamin B 12 supplements and tablets of Natural micronized Progesterone hormone, to support the pregnancy.
