Are Anemia And Inflamed Liver Symptoms Of Cancer?

I have just come back from hospital where my mother was admitted this evening. Her symptoms are anaemia inflamed liver and she is to get a ct scan tomorrow of her lungs as there is something suspicious showing on the chest X-ray she had. Could she have cancer?

Anemia possibly could be from gastrointestinal bleeding--colon or stomach--caused by cancer but an inflamed liver is not a sign of cancer. As for the chest x-ray, 90% of all chest nodules are found to be benign
