Are Estradiol Patch And Progesterone Safe To Take For Menopausal Symptoms?

My doctor just prescribed the estradiol patch and progesterone for me to take due to menapause symptoms. After having read about the side effects for both, i m very hesitant to start them. I m not MISERABLE with the symptoms that I have right now, but they can be bothersome. Not sure if I should hold off for a bit on taking these meds. Your thoughts?

Hello,
as you are going through menopausal symptoms, they can be disturbing but as you mentioned in your case they are not miserable. So in that case you can hold on for medications. If needed then there will be no option but to start.

Till then it is highly advisable to focus on physical health, mental health and diet.
you can do yoga, meditation and increase calcium and proteins in diet.
Do take Soyabean in diet and isoflavanes tablets orally for one year.
I hope this helps.
