Any Suggestion For Type 1 Diabetic Suffering From Severe Abdominal Pain?
I have been diagnosed with thickening of my stomach wall, through ultrasound, possible grastritis.
I was taking 5mg Foilc acid for a year, then stopped, it was then i coinsidently got fierce abdominal pain, like burning & apparently I have been hard to diagnose for i have the pain & sesitivity on the outside on my skin, i have to walk around with my shirt up, as anything that rubs on it hurts. iam 36 & have had type 1 diabetes for 6 & 1/2 yrs. I have been suffering with this acute pain since early dec 2013.
Finally i was put on nexium 40 last Friday, with slight reief of the buning in my stomach region.
is there any further testing i can have to confim b4 I need an endoscopy?
Is there anything else i can take to relieve it?

It is better to go for endoscopy. Your earliar mentioning thicking of stomach wall and taking folic acid does not explain any thing. One thing you should take bland diet. Stop smoking alcohol spicy food . A void hot tea. after endoscopy take omeprazole tablet daily for 20 days. tab unienzyme daily for 20 days. You can take poly crolgel daily for one month.
