Any Suggestion For Feeling Sickness After Quit Smoking?

I have quit smoking for 9 days now and I feel achy all over like I'm sick. I understand one can feel that way for awhile, but can I do to make it easier on me? I do cough a lot and my throat still hurts, especially if I breathe deep, but I only cough up phlegm upon waking in the morning.

Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Your complaints like cough, throat pain, sick feeling and bodyache appear more likely due to infection. Quitting smoking for 9 days do not lead to body ache.

Chronic smoking (Nicotine) lead to damage to lungs and deposition of black carbon particles in lung which cause chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It makes lungs more prone to infections. For treatment get evaluated by Pulmonologist/Physician for evaluation and treatment of infection.

Wishing you good health and all the best.
