Any Advise For Constant Urge To Urinate, Chills And Night Sweats, Abdominal/back/mid Body Pains?

Hi my boyfriend has been having a lot of problems with a constant urge to unrinate. He's been having chills and night sweats, but no fever. Also adnominal/back/mid body pains. We went and seen a nurse practitioner, they done a pee test and everything come back fine she gave him some meds but didn't help, and doctors won't get back with us to set up an appointment. So if some one could please help! Thanks and sorry for miss spelling or punctuation.

Hello
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Frequent urination , chills , back pain all are an indication of kidney involvement .
May be due to .
1 Urinary tract infection , diagnosis can be confirmed by urine culture examination , ( not simple examination ) after 24 hour .
2 If case is long standing then get in serum creatinine examination .As all these symptoms mentioned in the query may be due to chronic renal failure .
Ultrasound of kidneys is very important to rule out any stone in kidneys.
3 Tension ( stress or anxiety ) as all these symptoms may be due to tension. In such cases usually urine reports are normal and in spite of this patient feel urgency of urine and chills . If such type of condition present then consult a psychiatrist and get his opinion.
In my opinion get in ultrasound of kidneys , with urine culture . If all things normal then consult a psychiatrist and get his opinion.
Good luck.
