I understand your anxiety, your fear is right because routine HIV test comes positive only after 3 months and in 3% cases it may take upto 6 months , so I would advise you to get a repeat HIV test at 3 month and at 6 months to rule out your chance of infection. Although do not get panic because chance of getting HIV after having single exposure with HIV positive person is only 0.3%.
and there are some other tests for early conformation after 3 weeks like RNA for HIV 1 &2 but these are little costly ( In India approximately 8000 Rs)
