Anxiety Attacks, Rapid Heartbeat, High BP. Taking Xanax. What Could It Be?

I am having and have been having what i beleived to be anxiety attacks but at this point I think it is something else, i feel my heart beating thoughout my body, cannot seem to get a handle on my feelings just know that something is not right.been taking xanax but does not seem to help, my blood pressure has been up and I normally have a regular blood pressure

Xanax ( alprazolam) is no doubt for anxiety but a habit forming drug.
Moreover available in many strength as 0.25 to 2 mg and you haven't mentioned the dose of drug/
Since you may days you are having this drug?
As you stated that there is a rapid heart beat , may be due to anxiety as this is very common among this drug users.
Blood pressure , you mentioned that high ,but which B P high & write exact reading of B P .
In my opinion it is very difficult to evaluate diagnosis as we require complete data as age, sex, lipid profile reports, B P reading.
So upload all these reports.
