Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Both involve similar risk and has some pros and cons.
Please be specific which artery (NOT VEIN) is blocked (reproduce the whole report) and also tell us about age of the patient, symptoms and doctors evaluation notes. Ask a direct question by attaching these. You will get a second opinion from a cardiologist from Healthcaremagic.com. Good Luck.

With best wishes.

Urologist Dr. Dr. P. T. Patil's  Response
Hi thanks for your query
You have not mentioned which branch of the coronary artery is blocked and what is the percentage of block. Normally if a vessel is involved then Angioplasty is the procedure of choice. If multiple vessels are blocked it is always advisable to go for Bypass surgery.Pl consult some senior cardiologist.
