Allergic To Fake Nails, Applied Nail Polish, Caused Itching, Rash. Reason?
i have always been allergic to fake nails ...glue, chemical, etc. So i stayed away for a good ten years. Welll something new is in the market and my nail salon lady suggested for my to try this new product called Shalak polish. it is applied and then you place your hand in this little oven which dries them in less than a minute. My reaction was minimal. Just a little itch around the cuticle so I continued. Now I have a rash on my upper hand and is going up my wrist . Do you think its from the nail products?
Hello, Thanks for the query. You have developed an allergic reaction to the product applied. Once a person is allergic to a particular thing he can develop allergy anytime in his life. Please apply a mild steroid cream. This will control the inflammation. Never use that product again.
