Alcoholic, Trying To Quit. Having The Shakes, Sweats, And Twitches, Has Heart Tumor. Medication ?

I have a friend who is an alcoholic. She has decided to quit drinking as of today. She has struggled off and on with this. As of now, she has been drinking for six months straight. She is detoxing at my house and knows she has a heart mumor. She seems ok now. Her last drink was last night. She has been having the shakes, sweats, and twitches but thats about it.

Hi there,
I am not sure when this question was posted and if this answer is still relevant.
Given your friend's medical condition (heart murmur), my suggestion is that she should have a detox under medical supervision, preferably as an inpatient with close monitoring.
Good luck to her.
