After Stopping The Intake Of Krimson 35 When Can One Normal Period Cycle?

sir am 32 years lady I have POCd problem doctor asked me to take krimson 35 ...the doctor asked me to stop krimson 35 after one dose but, icould not understand her clearly and took another dose of 21 tablets now my periods has stopped ...when I consulated my doctor she said it will take along time for my another cycle to start..pl suggest how soon will i get my mensuarational cycle

Hi and welcome to HCM.

Krimson 35 is used in the management of PCOD especially in women that have excess of androgenic hormones. It also helps to regularize the period and control any hirsutism.

It does not matter much if you took it for 2 cycles as it is usually prescribed for 5-6 cycles before seeing the actual effects. So the prolonged period is not likely due to krimson but due to the PCO.

I suggest that you wait for periods to come spontaneously for 1-2 weeks. If there is still no periods, try tablet meprate thrice daily for 5 days. Periods may come within next seven days after completing meprate. If still no periods, visit a doctor for further testing. Even other wise you will need to see a doctor for long term management of PCO. Weight loss, regular exercise and meditation help in restoring hormonal balances and controlling PCOS.
