Advised Surgery Of Neck By Fusion Of The Base Of The Skull To T2. Success Rate And Recouping Time?

My neurosurgeon said that he cannot do surgury on my neck because it will have to be fused from the
base of the skull to T2. I have RA at C1-2 and herniated discs at every level. also anterolisthesis and uncovertebral joing anthropathy. He does not want to do it until the RA destroyes that level so I have an
MRI every year. What is the recoperation time and success rate of this big of a surgury? Thank you
