Acute Cellulitus, Prescribed Ciproxin. How Many Days Of Rest Is Necessary ?

I have acute cellulitus and want to know how many days of bed rest is necessary. I am on holiday in Mongolia and was bitten by a spider on Tuesday afternoon. it bit me on the big toe and my whole leg was swollen. I have been prescribed 500mg of ciproxin to take twice a day for 10 days. When I was bitten I felt sick and my tongue and lips were also swollen but luckily this passed in a couple of hours.

Hello.Usually if after 10 days of taking the antibiotic the infection is resolved and no signs of inflammation, you can return to your normal life gradually.
If 5 days after you start taking the antibiotic the inflammation is much lower can start walking slowly and short distances.
When sitting or lying keep the leg elevated.
Dont forget visit your doctor after finishing the 10 days of treatment for examine you and confirm the complete healing.
I wish you good health.
