Abdominal And Chest Pain, Nausea After Abortion. Reason?

Hi doctor,
a friend of mine had a abortion one week ago. yesterday and today she has been experiencing tummy pain, chest pain and she mention she wanted to vomit. she did not have regular meals and took pills that doctor described without water late at night. she saw family doctor and got medicine for her chest pain. can you help with an answer and to do?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
After abortion some amount of pain abdomen is common.
As her food habits are altered and taken medicines that can be one cause for nausea and heart burn.
If the symptoms persist she can consult gynecologist once and get examined to rule out the possibility of pelvic infection.
Meanwhile she can continue with antacids and anti emetics, nutritious diet and plenty of water intake.
