7 Year Old, Recurring Fever For 3 Weeks, Back Pain, Headache. Normal X Ray, Inconclusive Urine Sample. Any Ideas?

My 7 year old daughter has had fever on and off for 3 weeks, low as 99.4 and as high as 104. Complaints of Lower back pain, leg pain, severe headache, and intermittent stomach pain. Chest xray was clear, urine sample "inconclusive." We are on second round of 10 day cephalosporin antibiotics and it has no effect. Waiting results on back xray and cbc....my concern now is that it's leukemia. I am so worried about her because she has always been really healthy....am I overreacting? Is this consistent with leukemia?

Greetings.
yes you are over reacting.
first of all just for the information.theres an identity called as pyrexia of unknown origin.it means why the cause of fever is not known till almost 21 days.
and thats what is happening in this case.
the reason for this is a long list,But a battery of investigations need to be done.
sometimes malaria, typhoid etc also can present atypically and can cause this.
so what are the investigation that you have got it done.
A physical examination is a must.
Hope this helps.
