54 Year Old Woman With Uterine Fibroids. Did Not Have Periods For Long Time. Is It Necessary To Get Rid Of Uterus?
54 year old woman. no period for almost a year and a half. I have choice now after found out not in menopause . uterine fibroids. was given 3 options. birth control, lazer the uterine wall, or hytertomy. I feel awful and feel like im 5 months along. I went with birth control and start tomrw. my husband and daughter tell me just get rid of the uterus. scared.

Hi, the options for fibbroids usually be fibroidectomy, or hysterectomy, other processes may have recurance, even the fibroidectomy may have recurrance, of symptoms due to some other cause like harmonal defeciency.
