5 Months Baby, Irregular Periods, Pressure In Stomach. Pregnancy?

How come when i lay on my stomach it feels like alot of pressure? I just had a baby 5 months ago on Christmas. I am now on the depo shot and the first 3 months of using depo i experienced bleeding the whole time. So as soon as it was time for my second shot a week before i was supposed to have it again i quit bleeding. Once i had my second shot i quit bleeding. Now all of a sudden i am like spotting again and i do not get my next shot until July. I am just afraid i am pregnant again because i have lots of pressure in my stomach and when i press on it it hurts and sometimes it feels as if like spasms or something like a flutter feeling as i can see my stomach as what looks like a kick.

Hi,
It is sure that you should exclude pregnancy by a serum beta-hCG test and a trans-vaginal sonogram, the cause of your persistent bleeding could be a side effect of the depo shot and you may need to alter the contraception. The pain and pressure could be due to the lax abdominal wall, as muscle spasms are common and more so if there is an abdominal delivery. You should see a specialist to assess the situation and give proper suggestions. Take care.
