46 Years. On 8 Mg Methylprednisolone Every 8 Hours Since June 10th. No Furthur Instructions. Continue?
I am a 46 yr old female who has been on 8 mg tabs of methylprednisolone every 8 hrs (3 x day) since June 10th. I started the lower dose for my ween off period . 4 mg 1 1/2 pills -7 days 1 pill - 7 days and then 1/2 pill - 7 days.
My original instructions were to take every 8 hrs. However, my new instructions do not indicate. Just says to take prior to 9 AM w/food. Do I continue with every 8 hrs or do I slowly take an 8 hr away. Please advise. Thank you

Hi--it's fine just to take the total daily dose as a one-time in the morning dose--no need to divide it into three doses a day. It will work just as well that way
