4 Year Old. Rashes On Torso, Right Arm, Tiny Red Pricky Bumps, Spreading. Is It Viral Rashes?

My 4 year old daughter has developed a rash on her torso and right arm . The rash is tiny red prickly bumps and does not seem to be spreading. Her temperature has been in 99 to 99.5 degrees for the past 3 days. Is this something I should have her checked out by our pediatrician or just some viral rash that will have to run its course?

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Viral infections do present in various myraid forms and what you describe seems likely to be a viral rash. It is always better to consult your doctor and get it checked out. In case they start subsiding well and good otherwise the doctor will guide you as your daughter is also running a low grade fever.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery.

Regards,

RKK
