39 Week Pregnant And Advised To Have C Section As Cord Is Seen Overlying Fetal Neck. Suggest?
Hello.. Currently I am in 39th week of pregnancy and doctor told that there is a single loop of cord seen overlying fetal neck at around 36 weeks and is still exiting. She confirmed that we have to go for Csection and should complete it in a week from now. Can you please advice if we can try for normal delivery by inducing for pains.

Hi,
As there is loop in fetal neck one should not take any risk like inducing labor with injection as there is high risk to fetus.
In this situation Caesarian section is only potion.
Go for planned CS and enjoy good motherhood.
