25 Yrs Old Female Having Cold Cough For About 25 Days. Can It Be Tuberculosis ?

Age- 20 Gender- Female FROM 10th jan 11- Cold cough for about 25 days. greenish sputum in cough. No cough since march 11 till date. OTHER SYMPTOMS- mild fever , ache in left side of stomach, chills, weakness. Typhoid came out to be positive. Before cough and cold the patient had malaria and typhoid. REPORTS--- TLC- 9.700, DLC--- P-51%, L-46%, E-03%, M-00, B-00, and E.S.R is 25mm. Mantaux test- Negative Chest x-ray- little white lines ( seen in right side of left lung and left side of right lung) Can it be tuberculosis ?

Mantaux test came out negative and chest x ray also doesn't show any features of TB..Your typhoid test came out positive...So it is more likely that your symptoms are sue to typhoid..You need proper treatment with antibiotics and good rest and diet plan..Please follow whatever your doctor advices.
